Go Small or Go Home

Today while I was at my Parents' house everyone but me fell asleep. That was my cue to go outside and take some pictures! There wasn't really much to shoot, but I came across this Sassafras tree with one dead leaf. The sun was hitting it just right to make it glow like crazy.

The shots I was getting weren't really doing anything for me though. But I was using my Tamron 90mm macro lens, so I decided to do a macro. Holding the leaf up to the sun with my left hand, I took the shot with my right. The results were rather pleasing!

My advice for any photographer is never give up. If you just approach from a different perspective, you may find the perfect shot. Also buy a macro lens! Thanks for visiting!
